According to their website, the Douglas County School district has approximately 26,000 enrolled in their schools. The county currently has five high schools and two specialized high school programs.

Each year students are required to make satisfactory advancements toward securing their high school diploma.

Students take rigorous courses and are required to take state-mandated tests. In order to secure their high school diploma, students must take the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS).

This year the school system had 1,988 students graduate from various high schools in the county. With such a large number of graduates, it’s no wonder that not everyone can secure enough tickets to attend this highly sought-after event.

This year the school system has posted a video of each of the graduation ceremonies for people to access for FREE! An electronic version of the program can also be found on the Douglas County School System’s website.

If you were not able to attend a ceremony but want to view it you can!
