The residents of Douglas County Georga are beginning to have a variety of places to choose from when it comes to shopping for appliances. Big chain stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s are starting to have some local competition.

Last month The Flash reported that Conn’s Home Plus confirmed that they are going to be opening a store in the former Sears location at Arbor Place Mall.

The Douglas County Flash has confirmed with Conn’s HomePlus stores that they will indeed be opening in Douglasville. The chain will be located at the former Sears location at Arbor Place Mall.

It is currently scheduled to open on April 21, 2023. Although no grand opening events have been planned, an account executive from Conn’s stated that they “typically distribute gift cards and coupons on opening day”. Conn’s however, is not the only appliance store serving our community.

Appliances 4 Less is an appliance store open for business at 9365 The Landing Drive, Suite E500, Douglasville, GA. According to their website, the appliance store “offers a variety of wide selection of discounted refrigerators, freezers, cooking appliances, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and more”. The store is stocked with open-boxed LG items and scratched/dented LG appliances at deeply discounted rates.

The store website says that it delivers, installs, and offers a 1-year warranty for its customers. The store is open and ready for business. Located in The Landing Shopping Center near One Life Fitness and Ollies, their hours are Monday–Saturday 11 am–7 pm, and Sunday Noon–6 pm.
