According to a recent article titled Six Flags CEO plans to raise prices, says parks turned into ‘day care center for teenagers’ published by Fox Business, Six Flags is changing its marketing strategy.

The article states that the new Six Flags CEO is making changes in hopes of attracting a different customer base; this move has the support of one of its biggest investors.

The park is rethinking its decision to offer discounts that draw “rowdy” teens. The CEO Selim Bassoul, stated that the amusement park is a “daycare center for teenagers”.

The new plan will consist of raised admission ticket prices, in order to attract quality customers and deter unsupervised teens. The CEO wants customers “who are willing to come and spend the money”.

According to the Fox Business article, the company will introduce new dining plans in the Fall 2022 while also offering new activities and festivals in order to attract families.
