The Douglas County Tax Commissioner’s Office is located at 6200 Fairburn Rd. inside of the Annex Building. People from all over the county visit the office at least once per year to renew their tags on their birthdays. Tag renewals along with other services can cause long lines for people who want to do their business quickly.

The good news is that on the Douglas County Tax Commissioner’s website, they detail multiple ways to accomplish many common motor vehicle needs. Residents can use online service, kiosks, droboxes and mail to conduct business.

1) Kroger (Hwy 5):

3251 Highway 5 GA 301345 (Sun. – Sat. 6:00 AM – 11 PM)

2) Douglas County Tax Commissioners Office:

6200 Fairburn Rd. (Annex Building) Douglasville, GA 30134 (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM closed from 12 PM to 1 PM)

3) Kroger (Park Plaza):

8501 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, GA 30134
