The Douglas County County School System (DCSS) released the 2022 graduation rate results on October 27, 2022. According to their website, the 2022 four year graduation rate is 88.7%. This rate is .96% above the previous rate of 87.74 as reported in 2021.
The site also shows the graduation rate for each of the five high schools in the county. A document posted on the site states that the “schools with the highest graduation rates were Chapel Hill High School at 94.7% and Alexander High School at 91.9%”.
The school system’s rate is also above the rate for state of Georgia. The Georgia Department of Education reported a rate of 84.1% for the peach state.
