Gladys Knight is set to be the first performer to grace the stage of the new GreyStone Amphitheater according to Mayor Rochelle Robinson. The venue is located at 6840 Church Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.

Robinson announced details of the event during her State of the City Address on May 4th.

GreyStone Power Amphitheater’s Facebook page recently announced its Grand Opening Series and states that sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses of ‘all sizes’.

The official amphitheater’s website provides detailed information regarding the procedures for attending events.

The new outdoor venue has an occupancy capacity of 3,788.
Residents will need to bring their own lawn chairs as there will be no seating available.
The tickets for the events are free and will be posted two months prior to the event date on Eventbrite.

Attendees are required to complete the registration process in order to gain access to the free tickets.

Several other prominent artists are booked to perform at the venue in September.

In addition to Glady’s Knight’s performance, residents can look forward to Boney James performing on September 9th, and LeAnn Rimes on September 16.

The Gladys Knight performance will be from 7 pm to 10 pm and those wanting to register to see it must be ready to visit the Eventbrite site, and click the registration link on July 10th at 10 am in order to get a ticket because they are bound to go quickly!
