In October a construction project was listed on Constructionjournal.com an estimated value of 1,200,000 for Conn’s Home Plus. The project is for a retail construction project lead, and is listed as being under a conception stage. Sources have stated that the retail store will occupy the space that was formerly utilized by Sears.

According to their website, Conn’s Home Plus was founded over than 130 years ago. They started out as a “small plumbing and heating company in Beaumont, Texas. It currently has over 160 stores in 15 southern states with over 1.5 billion in annual revenue and over 4100 employees.

Conn’s Home Plus is a home goods store that sells furniture, appliances, and consumer electronics. The company’s mission is “to elevate home life to home love”. They boast of providing high quality products, next day delivery, personalized payments options including an in house credit program.
